Communications and Public Relations

A major part of the mission Christ gave the Church is communicating the Gospel message to the world. While this is the responsibility carried out through many specialized ministries in today's world it is especially important to make use of the various communication media available to the church.

Communication is a vital part of every segment of the local church body and community, ultimately making each department a vehicle for communication. By the power and grace of God, it is our goal to encourage members and department heads to keep the communication's team abreast of special events such as musical presentations, evangelism events, graduations, weddings, job promotions, and or community related activities. It is our hope to recognize and feature happenings within our church and community environment.

More importantly we exist as a department to spread the gospel of JESUS CHRIST through printed materials, media representation, radio, and web-based auxiliaries. Our objective is to raise public awareness of our church, its members, its mission, and its message. We participate in church activities and events that are noted in the media; and help to get the church's views included in the news adequately and accurately.
